Councils just keep making it harder to park along with making it so expensive. Private land with cameras for the Cowboy parking firms. HOSPITAL CAR PARKING, (should never have been allowed). Another tax on the hard working souls of this country. just get rid of the hated hospital parking fees, we don't go there for fun. If a political party wants to win the election, put that down as one of you...

Never seen one of these before Al, I'll get one just in case 👍
Wish I found your videos before I called a plumber who wrecked some of the garden and then used a pressure gun to clear the blockage in seconds after and charged £250. He lied when I asked about what he used says they do not make them anymore 🙄 yeah right!
You have an earring cupboard? Fancy!
Thanks! Missing the gasket but fixed our leak 💧
Problem is the design I'm most fridges u can clean out that hole till the cows come home but most of the time its way to tiny and will not drain away tge water efficiently do will keep icing up
Wow thank you 😊 i didn't know you had to clean it lol. Like someone said above (kind of) i didn't know my dad but used to watch my grandad when i was little. I've never dared do it, just watched from afar & wondered. Great video ❤
Brilliant thanks

I have very hard water, I think, and my mains water is fine and clear, however in my shower after a while I get an orange residue build up. I end up washing it off with a white vinegar spray. Is this also a sign of cross contamination?
No. Limescale builds up in the shower head and causes this. Al
@@dereton33 Ok thanks. What's the best stuff to clear it then?
Hi, can a faulty temperature sensor on the tank cause this as well?
Yes it could, but you would know if it was that as the hot water would be very hot. Al
Well yes it is
How do you prevent breakout when you go through a brick wall
Drill slowly without the hammer on
If you can work out the thickness of the wall you’re drilling (usual you can measure it by a door or window through the same wall) then mark this same depth with a bit of tape on the drill bit. This way you know at what point to switch off the hammer action and use rotate only on the SDS. Sometimes like with old pebble render that has blown, it’s virtually impossible to avoid sometimes quite large blowout. In this situation, consider is it easier to patch up the internal surface - so dill in instead. A good example of when drilling in may be better is when the internal walls are dot-and-dab plasterboard. You can usually feel when you’ve reached the final void just behind the plasterboard, so you can then take it really easy (unless you’re unlucky and come in right where there’s a blob of plasterboard adhesive, but if you tap the internal wall where you plan to come through, you can usually hear if it’s hollow at that point). A sheet of plasterboard is much softer than the face of a brick and therefore unlikely to blow out at all.
Wouldn't it better if you had said it's best to drill half a way through with the core drill on the inside and then, once the core drill has been emptied, do the same on the OUTSIDE, to avoid spoiling the brick work etc around the hole in the wall?
I do say that but nearer the end.
Why do you keep changing your shirt during the video lol😂😂😂
Now now no need to get shirty ha ha.
Great fun seeing your scooters, enjoy the summer . Hope you get a trip or two in . 👍
Me too thanks 😊
Need some help......I have a mixer tap and currently having issues of taking the cold water section (Tap) apart. I've unscrewed it, but the tap itself is completely lodge on tight, so I can't take the tap off to replace it. I think it's scale that has caused it seal, I can turn it on and off but I need to take it off completely but it won't budge. I've tried DW40, Tuff Bleach that eats at scale and it still won't come off. Yet the hot tap is perfect. Is there any tips you can give to help me resolve this issue
A tight fitting spanner and knocking the end of it with a hammer to shake it loose. Usually works.
But what you gonna do about the huge pilot hole now drilled through your walls lol
Fill it back up again. The things I do for you lot, ha ha.
I didnt know about drilling a pilot hole first Al, thanks 👍
No problem 👍
Thanks for helping us! Greetings from Portugal!❤
No problem!! Great country been many times.
My husband and I both didn’t have a dad around to teach us any DIY. Your channel has helped us a number of times. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
You are so welcome!
I'm continually inspired by the willingness of participants to listen and learn from one another. It's a model for constructive dialogue.🧡
Thanks.
Your neighbour should try fox cubs for a change. Until recently we have had 6 of them. Cute, sure, but you laugh less once they start dragging the contents of every one else's bins all over your grass. The poor old Vixen is looking a bit skinny and worn out. I think dad fox might have panicked at the maternity ward and scarpered !
Thats nature.
Thank you very much. It was sweet and short.
Glad you liked it!
Well explained Thanks so much
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the tips and enthusiasm. A bit surprised to see people boiling their veg in this day and age though! You're losing most of your nutrients that way, so your veg is just fibre and filler now.
And never, never, never heat a seed oil up - creates toxic oil
Thanks for the tips!
Made me laugh when you kept saying blinking, especially blinking light 😂. Looked like a fat drone at first 😂. Bit blurry at night, i noticed, but clear enough. Looks expensive, dare I ask the price ?.
Yes it is £126 .
@@dereton33 That is a real bargain, I was expecting £200 - £300. I'm impressed. Thanks for info.
Was a whole lot simpler in the old days.
Sure was.
Fixed my first faucet....
Great.
Just saved me a fortune in replacing my toilet siphon. Very quick fix. Many thanks.
No problem Biff.
Brilliant
Thanks.
Thank you
You're welcome
We've been staying in the motorhome at Exmouth Rugby Club for the last week, lovely town. I couldn't see you from here though!
Have to go to the far end where the roundabout is and life boat station.
@@dereton33 Yes been down there, where the wet fish shop is. She was outside there the other day getting welks out of their shells after she'd boiled them up. The Exmouth Shanty Men were singing at the yacht club last night.
This would work better if you were actually doing it instead of holding it in your hand in front of a camera
Thanks will try harder next time, thanks teacher.
Excellently presented and explained thank you
You are welcome!
Lovely views. You are lucky. May I ask is that 1080p and is it a camera or phone? Very good footage.
It is 4k on a Nikon p1000 camera.
@@dereton33 Thank you. It all looks lovely Al.
A lovely view thanks for sharing and I loved seeing the seagull family…how sad the coast would be without them, they are such a part of our childhood memories. Hope you are well, healthy, and that you & Jan are enjoying your lovely coastal life
We sure are thanks mate.
Lovely views Al. Cute chicks also, although many may not think so. 👍
They also pair for life seagulls.
Yes they are back every year.
Yes, it was lovely where i am in Northamptonshire. Nothing like the gorgeous view you have. Instead, i have a lovely view of the cricket club pitch ( and match), and the giant trees of our local park in the distance.
Still a lovely view. You cant beat England.
@dereton33 great day for a scooter ride, if you're able 😊
I would say, (as an ex mod and Lambretta owner), as many as possible without weighing you down too much. Nice selection you've got there, I'm jealous 😂.
Right on. The coat is a bit heavy ha ha.

Yay! Thank you!
Lovely
Thanks.
Many thanks sir ❤
Most welcome
Credit where credit is due is due 👏🏼
Definitely.
Typical British...lol 🤣
Yup.
I was in Bucharest & watched a construction crew build a tram stop in 3 days, working 24hrs per day, using arc lights at night. We could have dragged that out for a month here! And I thought they were supposed to be third world!
❤
In third world countries they just get on with it. No H+S rules and no working hours bull****. When they want to build bridges or new roads they don't do government enquiries or public opinion surveys and climate change demonstrators get used as hard core especially when the works funded by the Chinese.
Cheers all.
ya ,but do you realize ,that all the bad workers that here ,are theirs🎉
They were working out side are house last summer till gone 10 pm my neighbour had to tell them to stop they were keeping him children awake 🥴
Incredible.
I’ve got an old system but I can’t find out why it’s stopped giving me hot water. I’ve removed one radiator for decorating, would this cause no hot water? I thought they were two separate water systems. I’ve got water in my header tank. I’ve got heating to most radiators but not all. And I’ve got no hot water. Old system, old boiler, no motorised valves. Just bought the house. Help! 😅 Ps when I bleed some radiators no water comes out and no sound of hissing air. I assume it’s a massive air lock?
An airlock plus a sludged up system.
@@dereton33 How do I fix that? 😅 The hot water was brown for a week right enough. I put in an electric shower so we could wash.
10 years later and still saving amateurs like me. Thanks for the video!
Glad to help!
Thank you, so easy to understand.
You are welcome!
Don't worry the fire from the gas pipe they hit will be put out by them drilling through the adjacent water main.😂
Ha ha.
your power will suddenly go off in a few minutes and then you will be less pleased with the workers
It didnt.
Still time.....😂
